Our Cattery
Indrio is registered with the The International Cat Association and Cat Fanciers Association featuring internationally recognized La Perms since 2005. We have chosen to be an all-alter cattery, working to promote acceptance of the LaPerm as a recognized breed World-Wide. We work with breeders world wide in a consultative roll to assist them with their LaPerm breeding program.
We promote TICA and CFA standards as the only acceptable guidelines to use in breeding the LaPerm for sale or show.

Tyler
was the first LaPerm to join Shirley's cattery. He became the youngest
LaPerm to achieve Championship status in TICA, at the age of 8
months and 3 days. Due to some registration questions, he was pulled
for almost a year, then rapidly attained Quad Grand Champion Alter
in only 2 shows. He was rated Number 2 LaPerm alter internationally
for 2005-2006 show season, and was the number 1 LaPerm alter for
2006-2007 show season. He received his RW, finishing TICA SC 2011 9th Best Alter and, of course,TICA 2011 International Best Laperm Alter
Red
was a rescue. He has been shown some in CFA, and may be shown
in TICA somday. He has Ocicat in his
background, and, while a very handsome boy, we think he does not completely
meet the preferred standards for the LaPerm. 
Silver
is the newest edition to our cattery. He debuted March 29, 2008
at the World Cat Congress Show here in Houston. For only nine months
old and only one show as a kitten, he did very well. Silver is
currently trying to convince the other LaPerms he is big enough

Sir Charles was a double rescue. We found him a home, then 4 years later, brought him back "home" again. At the age of 7, we thought we would see what he would do at a show. As you can see, the results were spectacular! Less than one season, from scratch to Regional Winner! Charles told us, though, that one season was enough for him. Now, he spends his well-earned retirement watching the birds outside the window, and going for a walk on his leash on nice days. Yes, he is leash-trained. But he won't bark at passers-by and doesn't poop in the neighbor's yard.
